Bad Hair Day – 11th July 2017
Each year, our school council raises money, not only for charities, but also for things that THEY would like to have in school. In the past they have raised money for and bought goals for the playground and hopscotch markings for the playground.
On Tuesday, 11th July, the School Council held another of their fundraising events…a Bad Hair Day. This all started a few months a go when our Year 3 class wrote some letters to me asking if we could have a Bad Hair Day to raise money for school. The school council made posters and they are trying to raise enough money to buy a ‘heavy duty’ picnic bench to go under the big tree on the school field.
So far this year the school council have raised £210…so I think they are about £290 short to get a bench which is going to last a long time.
So far they have raised £200 towards buying their bench.
